Continuing the efforts to bring Blue Jays (Cyanocitta cristata) into the yard, we stopped by the local Wild Birds Unlimited shop last night and picked up one of their ring-shaped peanut feeders. Hopefully this will bring some Jays to the feeder without also bringing a horde of squirrels.
Thus far this morning, we've had several Tufted Titmice (Titmouses?) avail themselves of the new treats, but no Blue Jays.
