After the crazy weather we've been having we were out of almost every variety of seed. The birds have been sitting in the trees glaring down on us, accusingly wondering what had happened to their food. So while we were in the area we were finally able to stop by the Clayton Wild Birds Unlimited store to pick up a bag of Supreme and Nyjer.
The birds are trickling back this afternoon, although the weather is nice for the first time in weeks so many of them are off in search of other food.
